Athena Through Book XXI
Alas, Odysseus is about to take his revenge! After all of this long wait he has tested all of the suitors and he is ready to grab his heavy bow and kill the suitors. the cunning plan he and I hatched is reaching its conclusion and he will soon be reunited with Penelope and reclaim his glory as the king of Ithaca. For 20 years I have watched him and wished for him to go home to his beautiful wife and his ever-maturing son. I am teeming with excitement while watching over him! He has just strung his bow, amazing all of the suitors, and Zeus lashed down a thunderclap while he did. In mere minutes Odysseus will kill Antinuos first and then all of the other suitors who plague his household. For long enough his wife has lived in sorrow, and it is time for husband and wife to reunite gloriously. I am so excited for Odysseus! After my refusal to let him expedite the process, my plan has finally run its course and the suitors will be dead! Rejoice!

Athena Through Book XVII
At this point, I have led Odysseus in to his house and I am teeming with excitement at the inevitable vengeance he will take on the suitors. After all of these years of the suitors wasting away his home, he is so close to killing all of those who are disrespectful and restoring his house to its former glory. I have already reunited him with Telemachus, and their reunion elated me. For father and son to reunite after 20 years is something so heartwarming. It is only a matter of time before I will daze the suitors, transform Odysseus from a beggar into his royal self, and watch the suitors killed at the mighty hands of Odysseus and Telemachus. No longer will Penelope live in sorrow and no longer will she have to put up with the leeching suitors. Husband and wife will reunite and rule Ithaca and restore it to its illustrious glory. I am so anxious for Odysseus to take revenge on the suitors, but I know that we must follow our plan. However, the very second that it is right, I will transform Odysseus from a beggar wearing rags into his glorified self. With fire in his eyes and a royal cloak on his back, he will kill the suitors who have bothered his house for years. After 20 years of absence he will reunite with Penelope and reward those who were loyal to him. I am purely elated at the impending conquest of Odysseus and I cannot wait!

Athena Through Book XIV
The time is nearing when Odysseus will reclaim his homeland, and I am very excited. I just spoke with him and outlined a plan for him to take, but I had to convince him that he is indeed on Ithaca, as he is always suspicious. He and I are so similar in our personality treats. We are both wise, and we are both always deceitful and cunning. I have never met another human who is so cunning. Also, I have instructed Telemachus on how to proceed. I instructed him to head home and go to the swineherd, and I am very pleased with his recent maturity. Although Odysseus is almost ruling his homeland again, I am still kind of fearful of my uncle, Poseidon. It is not to late for him to intervene and ruin everything, but I hope he doesn't. I just cannot contain my excitement! Odysseus is so very close to taking revenge on the parasitic suitors and reclaiming his rule of Ithaca. When he reveals himself and takes care of the suitors, he will finally be able to see his son and his wife who he left many years ago. i almost feel bad that he must wait with the swineherd, but I know that he needs to see the never ending loyalty and kindness of the swineherd. Odysseus needs to see just what this man has done for his master despite not seeing him in twenty years. I'm just so excited!

Hoping for Odysseus to Prevail
I am desperately hoping for Odysseus to finally reach home. For years I have watched Odysseus travel far and wide undergoing countless struggles, and now I am anxious to help him reach home. I have already begun to help him, convincing Zeus to command Calypso to let him go. For ten years I have watched him grieve in the presence of Calypso and it is a great relief to know that he has finally left Ogygia. At the same time I am trying to get Telemachus to act like the man he is, and I believe I am succeeding. When Odysseus comes home I want him to be proud of his son, and he would not be proud if his son acted like a child. I convinced Telemachus to to go out and search for his father, and I am watching over him to give him confidence and guide him on his way. I have just guided Odysseus to Scheria and I have been impatiently watching him tell his story to the people of Scheria, but I know I must be patient. Soon he will embark on the next stage of his journey, and I surely will help him out. Although I am set on helping Odysseus, I must be wary and careful not to upset Poseidon too much. He is till mad at Odysseus for blinding his son so many years ago. i hope that Odysseus is soon able to reunite with his wife and son at his home in Ithaca.
