Hoping for Odysseus to Prevail

I am desperately hoping for Odysseus to finally reach home. For years I have watched Odysseus travel far and wide undergoing countless struggles, and now I am anxious to help him reach home. I have already begun to help him, convincing Zeus to command Calypso to let him go. For ten years I have watched him grieve in the presence of Calypso and it is a great relief to know that he has finally left Ogygia. At the same time I am trying to get Telemachus to act like the man he is, and I believe I am succeeding. When Odysseus comes home I want him to be proud of his son, and he would not be proud if his son acted like a child. I convinced Telemachus to to go out and search for his father, and I am watching over him to give him confidence and guide him on his way. I have just guided Odysseus to Scheria and I have been impatiently watching him tell his story to the people of Scheria, but I know I must be patient. Soon he will embark on the next stage of his journey, and I surely will help him out. Although I am set on helping Odysseus, I must be wary and careful not to upset Poseidon too much. He is till mad at Odysseus for blinding his son so many years ago. i hope that Odysseus is soon able to reunite with his wife and son at his home in Ithaca.
